Jackson Township's Recycling Program is voluntary and convenient. Recyclable items can be dropped off at bins located at:
- Municipal Building Parking Lot, Behind C & R Service Center in Mundy's Corner
- Laurel Highlands Landfill at Wagner Road

7 Days Per Week, 24 Hours A Day
Recyclable Items Include:
- Aluminum and Tin Cans
- Corrugated Cardboard - (Packing Type Boxes) - Pike Road Only
- Cardboard - (Grocery Product Type Boxes) - Pike Road Only
- Plastics - (Plastic Bottles & Jugs - Any Color - Numbered 1 and 2) - Pike Road Only
- Newspapers - Pike Road Only
- Magazines - Pike Road Only
- Paper (Any Color, Non Shredded)
- Tires - Laurel Highlands Landfill Only (Charge of $2.00 per regular tire off the rim, up to 4 per customer)

Recycling Tips
- Corrugated Cardboard - Flatten boxes and remove any staples or metal fasteners.
- Magazines - Dry and clean. Don't bag, wrap or bind. Also accepted are glossy inserts and catalogs.
- Metal Cans - Food and beverage, aluminum and mixed metal cans. Rinse out to remove residue and food. Crush to pack tightly. Place in bins loose.
- Newspapers - Dry and clean. Don't bag, wrap or bind. Place in the bins loose.
- Plastics - Only # 1 & 2 bottles, jugs and jars accepted. Remove lids and discard. Rinse and crush to pack tightly.
